Professional Foot Care Services

Whether you’re looking for routine foot care or help with a specific foot concern, every appointment begins with a thorough assessment so your treatment can be tailored to your individual needs.

My aim is not only to improve the health and comfort of your feet today, but also to provide practical advice that helps you maintain healthy feet between appointments.

My services include:

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first appointment is all about getting to know you and your feet.

We’ll begin by discussing your medical history, any concerns you’re experiencing, and your foot care goals. A neurovascular assessment will be carried out where appropriate to assess circulation and sensation, particularly if you have diabetes or other health conditions.

Following your assessment, treatment will be tailored to your individual needs. I’ll also provide personalised aftercare advice, helping you understand how to keep your feet healthy and comfortable between appointments.

Routine Foot Care & Maintenance

Regular foot care isn’t just about appearance – it’s an important part of maintaining comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing.

Routine appointments include nail trimming and shaping, reduction of thickened nails where appropriate, removal of hard skin, and a general assessment of your foot health. Whether you struggle to reach your feet, find nail care difficult, or simply enjoy keeping your feet in excellent condition, routine maintenance helps prevent minor concerns from developing into more uncomfortable problems.

Nail Care

Healthy nails play an important role in healthy feet.

Whether your nails have become thickened, difficult to cut, uncomfortable, or simply require routine maintenance, professional nail care helps keep them healthy and manageable.

Treatment includes careful trimming, shaping and reduction of thickened nails where appropriate, together with advice on proper nail care to help prevent future problems.

Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails are one of the most common foot concerns and can quickly become painful if left untreated.

During your appointment, the affected nail will be carefully assessed and treated to relieve discomfort where possible. I'll also explain what may have caused the problem and offer practical advice on footwear and nail cutting techniques to help reduce the likelihood of it returning. If the condition requires treatment beyond my scope of practice, I'll advise you on the appropriate referral.

Hard Skin, Corns & Cracked Heels

Hard skin, corns and cracked heels are often caused by repeated pressure, friction or dry skin. Although common, they can become uncomfortable and sometimes painful if left untreated.

Gentle professional treatment helps remove excess hard skin, relieve pressure from corns, improve the appearance of cracked heels and restore comfort. You'll also receive practical home care advice to help keep your feet softer, healthier and more comfortable between appointments.

Fungal Nail & Skin Care

Changes in your nails or skin - such as thickened, discoloured nails or itchy, peeling skin - are often caused by fungal infections. These conditions are very common and nothing to feel embarrassed about.

Treatment includes assessment, reduction of thickened nails where appropriate, and practical advice on managing fungal infections and preventing them from spreading.

Where necessary, I'll advise if further treatment through your GP or podiatrist may be beneficial.

Athlete's Foot

Athlete's foot is a common fungal skin infection that usually develops between the toes. Symptoms can include itching, redness, peeling skin, cracking and irritation.

Early treatment can help prevent the infection from worsening or spreading to other areas of the feet or nails. During your appointment, I'll assess the condition, provide treatment where appropriate, and offer advice on footwear, hygiene and ongoing care to help prevent future flare-ups.

Neurovascular Assessment

A neurovascular assessment checks the health of your feet by assessing both circulation and sensation.

This involves examining blood flow, checking pulses, assessing capillary refill, and testing sensation to help identify any changes that may affect your foot health.

Neurovascular assessments form an important part of diabetic foot care and may also be recommended for clients with certain medical conditions or concerns.

General Care

You don’t need to have any of the above conditions to visit a foot health practitioner.

For many reason, some people can not reach their feet and therefore they will need help and assistance with their foot care and health.

Treatment involves filing and cutting toe nails, removal of dead skin, prevention and treatment of any of the above conditions on their feet. Advice regarding foot care and foot exercises. It can be an educational experience that gives you the opportunity to ask questions!
